theonlyeaglebird asked: If the installer is trying to calibrate a touchpad or some other sort of hardware, I would suggest updating the driver for said hardware. If it's downloading something from the internet (occurs more often in wireless), you can try reinstalling/updating the NIC driver (e.g. wifi driver). Those are the sort of things I'd look for, especially if it STOPs right after or at a certain point...
